/Problem
Young people aged 16 to 24 in Warsaw, Gdansk, Lodz, Krakow and Katowice come to Realizac(ja) for practical business knowledge and for the company of people who think the way they do. The programme is built from workshops, meetings with people in business and networking events. Over two years the project drew more than a thousand participants and over 25 partners, and the jury of the Zwolnieni z Teorii olympiad awarded it a Bronze and a Silver Wolf plus a Gold nomination. All of it lived on social media alone, so a company weighing up a sponsorship had nowhere to see the whole picture. The commission covered a site gathering that record in one place, along with handling event sign-ups.
/Approach
The team is voluntary and turns over every year, and the site has to outlive it. So we costed the upkeep for the intakes to come rather than the build itself. That ruled out a panel with a monthly subscription and libraries somebody would have to keep updating. Event sign-ups stayed in the tool the team already uses, so there is nothing underneath the site that anyone pays for month after month. The annual bill for keeping it running is zero.
/Solution
A single scrolling page carries the whole thing. It opens with the project and the olympiad awards, then come the next event, the gallery and the partners, and it ends with the call for new team members. An event sign-up happens without leaving the page, with a plain link beside it in case a browser blocks embedded windows. Every photo carries its dimensions up front, so the text does not jump as the page loads. There is also a description for search engines, icons for phones and three legal pages stating who handles the sign-ups. The site can be moved to another hosting company without us and without reworking, and the text appears even if the animations never start.
/Result
Companies weighing up a sponsorship now have a single page showing the awards, the participant numbers and a wall of twelve partner logos, and event sign-ups run through a panel embedded in that same page, with no trip to an outside address. Nothing on the site calls for regular updates, and a change to the text carries neither a budget nor development work. Our logo sits in the partner block, credited as the site builder, and that is the whole fee.
