A Łódź custom furniture workshop's site where each of eight services has its own page, and kitchens and furniture have pages for Łódź, Widzew and Dąbrowa.

atelier24 is a custom furniture workshop in the Nowosolna area of Łódź that has handled measuring, design, production, delivery and fitting itself since 2009.

The workshop takes orders from Łódź and the whole province and makes furniture under its own brand from Egger and Kronospan boards with BLUM fittings. Its previous site ran on WordPress, with services under an offer section and project pages named after Łódź districts and nearby towns.

Alongside them were six local pages on made-to-measure furniture and kitchens across Łódź, in Widzew and in Dąbrowa, and the Widzew furniture page appeared in Google results. The new custom furniture maker website had to cover eight services, a gallery and a quote form, with old addresses still leading to the right content.

- How can enquiries say from the first message what they concern and what the dimensions are?
- How should eight services, from kitchens to BLUM fittings, be set out on separate pages?
- How can finished furniture be shown so that every project states its location and scope?

## Eight services and six local pages

The eight services each got a separate page, from made-to-measure kitchens, fitted wardrobes and walk-in wardrobes to kitchen glass, appliances, turnkey renovations and BLUM fittings. On service pages, project photos show the room the page is about. A page on working together sets out five stages, from a free quote, measuring and a design with visualisation to in-house production, delivery, fitting and the guarantee.

Six local pages for the whole of Łódź, Widzew and Dąbrowa kept their old addresses and got new text about the local housing. The Dąbrowa page covers narrow kitchens in blocks of flats, the Widzew page kitchenettes open to the living room in new flats. Each has four questions and answers, a list of services, phone and quote buttons and links to the other local pages. Every page footer links to all six, and their map is an OpenStreetMap image kept on the workshop's server.

## Gallery, blog and old addresses

The gallery shows all work or a chosen group of rooms, each with its own address. Groups switch without reloading the page, and without JavaScript the group from the address is shown. A project photo opens its page with an at-a-glance box of location and scope and photos grouped by room. A separate view shows whole interiors with a list of rooms.

The blog launched with ten articles in seven categories. Topics include the cost of a made-to-measure kitchen in Łódź, a kitchen for a small flat in a block and choosing a fitted or walk-in wardrobe. Reviews from the workshop's Google profile appear on the home page, and a link leads to the full list.

Of 256 old addresses we checked, 180 lead to their counterparts and 30 work unchanged. The other 46, such as RSS feeds and WordPress template pages, tell search engines they are gone for good. We uploaded the new site next to the old one and switched over with no downtime, and the old site is archived on the server.

## Quote form

The form asks about the scope, from a kitchen to a renovation with furniture, the wall or recess dimensions and the preferred contact method. Only a name and phone number are required, and photos, a floor plan or a design go by e-mail. On the quote page, eleven questions and answers cover fittings, worktops, boards, the guarantee and the area served, among other things.

Enquiries go straight from the site's server to the workshop's inbox, with no third-party form service. The subject line carries the customer's name, and the message says which page it came from and when. A reply goes straight back to the customer if they gave an e-mail address. If sending fails, the form shows the workshop's phone number and e-mail address.

On computers the quote button sits in the header, and on phones a call button takes its place. The site is ready-made HTML files on the workshop's existing hosting, and a PHP script on the same server handles the form. It stores no cookies and runs no analytics, so it shows no consent banner. A link shared in a messenger shows a photo of the workshop's own work.
