# Mobile apps for businesses

iOS and Android apps for your customers and for teams working in the field. Design, build, release in the stores and support after launch.

## Custom mobile apps

An app makes sense when your customer or employee comes back to it regularly: to place orders, book appointments, report incidents or fill in reports. For a one-off contact with a company a good website is usually enough, and that is what we advise.

We build one app for iOS and Android from a single codebase, with native modules where a feature needs them, such as background location, notifications or the camera. Apps are published from your company's developer account on the App Store and Google Play. We set up the account and the store verification together with you.

## Store app or web app

A web app (PWA) installs from the browser, runs on any phone and needs no store release. It suits tools for running a business, from staff apps to a panel in which a store owner handles orders from the phone.

An App Store and Google Play app can use phone features that the browser does not expose, and it appears in store search. We choose it when the app uses background location or alarms that need an immediate response.

## Working without signal

Apps for field teams save data on the device and send it once the connection returns. That is how the app we built for the AMICO stonemasonry workshop works. The quote, contract, completion certificate and receipt are produced on a tablet even with no signal.

## After release

New versions of iOS and Android need app updates from time to time. These are part of maintenance and support after launch, together with the server and backups, at a fixed monthly fee set individually for each app. Further development is quoted separately. We fix faults in the app we built without extra charge.

## What the scope covers

- Workshop and feature list
- Screen design
- iOS and Android app
- Admin panel
- Notifications
- Sign-in and payments
- Testing on physical devices
- Release on the App Store and Google Play
- Updates and support

## Cost and timeline

A mobile app starts at 10,000 PLN. That is the starting price of a web app (PWA), while an App Store and Google Play app costs from 20,000 PLN. The price grows with the scope, for example sign-in, payments, notifications and an admin panel.

A build takes from a few weeks to a few months, and we show a working version during the work. The schedule with sign-off dates is prepared once the scope is agreed, before the start.

We do not charge for quotes. Payment is split into a deposit at the start and the balance at handover, 50 per cent each. Larger projects are spread over more instalments, each tied to a milestone.

## What we connect apps to

One codebase for iOS and Android, native modules where they are needed, and release in both stores from your company's account. Sign-in, data and notifications run on a shared back end with the admin panel.

Expo, React Native, TypeScript, Kotlin, Swift, App Store, Google Play, Supabase

## Questions about apps

### How long does it take to build a mobile app?

From a few weeks to a few months, depending on scope. We show a working version during the work, and you receive a schedule with sign-off dates before the start.

### Does the app have to be on the App Store and Google Play?

Not always. A web app installs from the browser and is enough for many staff tools. We advise on the choice when preparing the quote.

### Does the company need its own developer account?

Yes. The app is released from your company's account, and we guide you through setting up the account and the verification.

### What do you need for a quote?

A description of what the app should do, who will use it and which software and tools it has to work with. A technical specification is not needed.

### Who owns the code and the rights to the website or app?

Once the full price is paid, we transfer to you the economic copyrights to the code and design we prepared for you. The scope of the transfer is set out in the contract. Open-source libraries stay under their own licences.
